SkillELECTRIC 2008
SkillELECTRIC has been designed to promote standards and skills across the electrotechnical industries, developing competence into excellence and will test competitors’ performance in tasks drawn from the role of the electrician.
Competitors will undertake a series of practical tests based on real-life work which will demonstrate their abilities and highlight their outstanding skills in their industry.
Subject to the number of entrants, there will be a preliminary stage or heats, followed by a UK Final. The winner of the UK final may also have the chance to compete along with other UK team-mates in the WorldSkills competition and become truly world-class.

What happens if I win?
Winners of the preliminary stage or heats who meet the required standard will be invited to compete in the UK Final. Subject to eligibility, outstanding UK winners may be invited to compete for a place in the UK’s team for the WorldSkills Competition.
