SummitSkills Partner of the Year for Skill M&E
16 Dec 2009
SummitSkills has won the 2009 Partner of the Year Award in recognition of its organisation of the annual Skill M&E competitions SkillELECTRIC, SkillFRIDGE, SkillPIPE and SkillPLUMB.
The awards, introduced in 2008 by UK Skills, are designed to showcase and celebrate exceptional partner performance in the delivery of skills competitions. This year's award was presented to Neil Collishaw by celebrity chef James Martin (pictured below left) and UK Skills' chief executive Simon Bartley (pictured below right).
Neil, head of skills competitions at SummitSkills, was delighted with the accolade. He said: "This is such an important achievement for us. Skills competitions raise the profile of building services engineering and showcase the quality and integrity of some of our very best people. To see our candidates do well, not only at national level but on the world platform, is tremendously encouraging. We are proud to have our hard work recognised through this award and look forward to continuing to build on the excellent partnerships we have forged with the UK Skills and WorldSkills teams."
